Lake County housing, resort project advances
By GLENDA ANDERSON THE PRESS DEMOCRAT Developers have cleared one major hurdle and are moving toward the next with a controversial plan to transform 860 acres in northwestern Lake County into a housing development with a Tuscan-style resort, spa, Jack Nicklaus signature golf course and equestrian center.
